The present general terms and conditions of sale are concluded between, on the one hand Goldstéck sàrl, registered with the Luxembourg Trade & Companies Register of commerce under the number B206930, whose headquarters are located at 36 cité Bech L-6186 Gonderange, hereinafter referred to as ‚Goldstéck‘, and on the other hand any person wishing to make a purchase on the website www.goldsteck.lu hereinafter referred to as the 'customer'.

The act of placing an order implies compliance with these general terms and conditions of sale. The contract of sale is subject to Luxembourg law.

These general terms and conditions of sale may be modified at any time and apply to all sales after their publication on the website. Goldstéck may occasionally need to modify some of the provisions of its general terms and conditions, therefor it is necessary that the customer should reread them before each visit or purchase on www.goldsteck.lu. Each purchase on the site is governed by the the general terms and conditions of sale applicable on the date of the order. Before placing an order, the customer must have read and accepted the general terms of sale, which is confirmed by the fact that he has checked off "I agree to the general terms and conditions of sale and accept them." By accessing the website, the customer agrees to the general terms of sale.

To place an order on our website, you must be at least 18 years of age and have requisite legal capacity or be in possession of a parental authorisation.

The products offered for sale by Goldstéck are those available on the website www.goldsteck.lu, on the day the website is visited by the customer.

The prices at which the items are offered for sale, as indicated on the website, remain valid within the limit of stocks available.

Items offered for sale are described as accurately as possible. However, Goldstéck cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions that may occur in the information presented. The photographs and texts used to illustrate and describe the products are indicative and have no contractual value.

 

Order

By clicking on the ‚validate order‘ button at the checkout page of www.goldsteck.lu, the electronic signature of your order has the same value as a handwritten signature.

After confirming your order, you will receive an email with a summary of your order which will serve as an order receipt confirmation.

This confirmation includes all of the elements of the contract between the customer and Goldstéck. The purchase order and invoice are stored in Goldstéck records, being kept on a reliable and durable support. The customer agrees that these are considered as proof of the contractual relationships between the customer and Goldstéck.

After Goldstéck has received the confirmation of your payment by the Stripe payment system or PayPal, the items ordered will be sent and you will receive an email that your parcel is on its way and an number to track your parcel (if tracking is available).

Prices

All prices of products displayed on our website are indicated in EUROS and include all taxes and excluding delivery, processing or gift wrapping costs (which are added towards the end of the ordering process).

Any change in VAT rates will be reflected in the prices of items and services. Goldstéck reserves the right to change its prices at any time, knowing that the prices displayed on our web site the day of the order will be the one applicable to the customer.

The customer is bound to pay the price applicable at the time they place their order.

Goldstéck draws particular attention to the safety of your personal information and transactions.

Your banking data are transmitted with SSL protocol encryption and their confidentiality is preserved during data transmission. No payment data is stored on our servers.

The order validated by the customer will be considered effective only when the Stripe payment services or PayPal confirms Goldstéck that the payment is acceptable. In case of refusal of such a system, the order will automatically be cancelled and the customer notified by e-mail. Moreover, Goldstéck reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom Goldstéck is currently involved in litigation.

 

Shipping and returns

Items purchased on our website www.goldsteck.lu are shipped to the address you’ve indicated when placing you order. Right of withdrawal

​

According to current law and regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract of sale and exercice your right of withdrawal within 14 days from the time you’ve received your order and to inform us about your intention of returning one or more items purchased without any reason or incurring a penalty. If you exercise the right of withdrawal within the above-mentioned period, only the price of the product purchased and the shipping costs related to this purchase will be reimbursed; the cost of return delivery remains your responsibility.

In order to exercice your right of cancellation you must inform Goldstéck by email at store@goldsteck.lu mentioning your coordinates and the reference of the article to get further instructions about returning your order.

Any request for return received by Goldstéck beyond these 14 days for some reason whatsoever will not be accepted.

Items are to be rendered completely (packaging, accessories, instructions...) and in their original condition allowing their re-marketing on our website. Textiles must not have been worn, used, modified, washed or damaged, if necessary, they must still have their label.

We will refund you using the same payment method you used to conduct the original transaction unless we have expressly agreed a different payment method with you.

We are entitled to withhold payment of the refund until we have received the items or until you have provided proof that you have returned the items.

 

Custom duties

Any order placed through this website and delivered outside the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg may be subject to possible taxes and customs duties which are payable when the package reaches its destination. These customs duties and taxes related to the delivery of an item are your responsibility and are to be paid at your own cost. We are not required to check and inform you of the customs duties and taxes in your country. To find out, we recommend you to check with the competent authorities of your country.

 

Intellectual property
